  • The U.S. maritime regulated industry received further guidance today (October 10, 2025) on the training requirements necessary to meet 33 CFR Part 101 Subpart F, aka the CG Cyber Rule.

    Key points in the guidance include…

    1) The date has not changed. It is still January 12, 2026
    2) Clarity on who is expected to receive training
    3) Access control for personnel who have not received training
    4) And requirements for contractors accessing the organization’s systems
